Play out the Creativity of Liberating Structures x ORID

We want to invite you to interweave two powerful approaches. Liberating Structures which are easy-to-learn microstructures that enhance relational coordination, trust, and quickly foster lively participation. We want to explore combining some of the Liberating Structures tools with this conscious design framework from the Institute of Cultural Affairs called Focused Conversation or ORID which is a structured question design process ICA has used in multiple settings for over 50 years.

This is an invitation to a facilitation playing field and to reflect on our experience and how you might apply to your own life.

We plan to offer it twice once in Chinese(Sept. 15) and once in English(Sept.12). Each session will be about 2 hours. 

 

Registration (English Session)

1. Date and time: 19:30-21:30, Sept. 12 (GMT+8, Taiwan Time) (Zoom admission will be open at 19:20)
2. This session is conducted in English without Chinese translation.
3. Fee: NTD300/person. Please be advised that once registered, this event cannot be refunded or canceled, nor can it be postponed. All proceeds, after deducting the platform-handling fee and tax, will be donated to ICA to support expanding access to facilitation for areas of need. The facilitators will not receive payment.
4. This is not a lecture or a seminar, but an experiential exploration.

 

Facilities and Equipment

1. Since this event will be held online via Zoom, please download Zoom in advance. Download URL: https://zoomnow.net/zntw_zoom_download.php?showType=ALL. We recommend using a desktop computer or laptop to participate in this event.

3. If you need a whiteboard at the event on the day, a Miro link, with an online whiteboard function, will be provided. https://miro.com/ (Please login with a computer or iPad. If you login with an iPad, you need to register first)
4. The event includes interactive sessions, such as group discussion, and participants are strongly advised to turn on their video camera throughout the process.
5. A stable and high-speed Internet connection, headset, and microphone are recommended for effective participation.
